HISTORY
Audel was established in 1992 in Oulu, which became one of the leading European growth clusters in the electronics industry in the 1990’s. The company set its goal on the manufacturing of durable high-quality user interfaces with competitive prices. After years of experience and the considerable number of applications produced, Audel has strong specialised expertise in the field.
Audel’s business grew with the blooming technology industry in the region. As a result of close cooperation with customers, business expanded from design to the mass production of user interfaces.
The EM Group started to invest in Audel, still headed by its owner, in 1998. EM Group focuses on the development of industrial companies in different fields, and it offered Audel the development support and financing needed for growth. Production units were transferred to the Baltic countries and Russia in order to meet the demands of globalisation and cost-efficiency.
Audel’s operations are based on combining two key areas: technological leadership and all-inclusive service. Thanks to close cooperation with the customers and strong R&D, Audel will continue to hold its place in the forefront of development in the future. |
